Post-2020 brainstorming

Joint secretariats and managing authorities of Interreg transnational programmes and Interreg Europe reflect together on common issues.

date:  14/12/2017

With a view to reflect together on common issues, joint secretariats and managing authorities of Interreg transnational programmes and Interreg Europe have set up an informal working group. It meets on a regular basis to exchange practice and ideas on the implementation of their respective programmes. In the last two meetings in September in Vienna and in December in Berlin, the discussions focused on the post-2020 programming period, highlighting the importance and the value added of these programmes and reflecting how to improve the implementation arrangements in the future. The programmes have decided to draft working documents that will be circulated and published in early 2018, to feed into the current debate on cohesion policy after 2020.
