'Data and Tools to Counter Terrorism’ website – now in all EU languages

We are glad to announce that our website now uses the European Commission’s eTranslation service, an automatic machine-translation function that makes its content accessible in all EU languages. Explore it in your language.

Machine translation gives a basic idea of the content in a language you understand. It is fully automated and involves no human intervention. The quality and accuracy of machine translation can vary significantly from one text to another and between different language pairs. Therefore, it might not always be accurate. Some terms are deliberately left in the original English language, for example tool names and concepts such as ‘Hostile Vehicle Mitigation’. Some content (such as images, videos, files, etc.) may not be translated due to the technical limitations of the system.

Nevertheless, we consider that this automatic translation service is a significant improvement in making the website content more accessible to the Protection of Public Spaces stakeholder community.
