Online workshop on “Numerical simulation for hostile vehicle mitigation”

Anybody interested is welcome to participate in the JRC’s ongoing research activities with regard to the Protection of Public Spaces against vehicle ramming attacks.
This time, the workshop will address the following topics:
- Presentation of a new generic vehicle model of the N3G category for simulation of impacts on Vehicle Security Barriers
- Approach for the validation of numerical vehicle models using experimental test data
- Vehicle impact load characterization using numerical simulations
