European Language Data Space at ADRF25 and MyData 2025: Strengthening Europe’s Multilingual Data Future

In September 2025, the European Language Data Space (LDS) participated in two different European data events, underlining its commitment to trustworthy, multilingual, and human-centric data innovation: the AI, Data and Robotics Forum 2025 (ADRF25) in Stavanger, Norway, and the MyData Conference 2025 in Helsinki, Finland.

date:  20/10/2025

At ADRF25 (23–24 September), the LDS was present with a booth and a presentation. The forum brought together European leaders from research, policy, and industry to discuss resilience, strategic autonomy, and the responsible use of AI and data. Positioned among distinguished speakers, including representatives from the European Commission and leading research institutions, LDS demonstrated how Data Spaces integrate into the broader European data infrastructure and regulatory landscape.

Immediately afterwards, the LDS team traveled to MyData 2025 (24–26 September), one of Europe’s leading conferences on human-centric data management. At its booth as well as on a dedicated panel, the LDS showcased how language data enables fairness, inclusivity, and empowerment in digital services. The conference’s themes, topics like AI, democracy and data rights, offered an ideal context to present LDS as a bridge between technological innovation and human values, emphasising that multilingualism is essential for equitable access to digital opportunities across Europe.

Through its presence at these two complementary events, the LDS continues to strengthen its role in shaping a multilingual, inclusive, and responsible digital ecosystem for Europe.
