Looking ahead to 2026, the LDS moves from consolidation into wider roll-out: national engagement will continue, infrastructure evolution is imminent, and a major stakeholder moment is planned for the second half of the year.
All these (above-mentioned) achievements build upon the LDS’s three-year accomplishment record: 48 organisations have had their applications granted after vetting (26 from industry, 11 from academia, 4 from public administration and 5 non-profits, alongside research infrastructures such as CLARIN ERIC and ALT-EDIC).
