Third meeeting of the LDS User Group

The third LDS User Group Meeting took place virtually on 6 November 2024, attended by more than 30 people from 27 different organisations and companies from all over Europe. The central topics of this meeting were the LDS governance as well as the LDS components and infrastructure.

In preparation for the upcoming test release of the Language Data Space (LDS) in January 2025, the LDS Consortium asked the members of the User Group for their interest in actively participating in one of the three planned focus groups:

  • the Testing Group, with a main focus on performance and usability of the LDS components and infrastructure,
  • the Data and Metadata Group, which will provide feedback on metadata models as well as on specifications for data formats and data packaging, and
  • the Policy Group, which will concentrate on licences, policy classes and pricing of the data assets.
