3M people reached in Spain Campaign “Zero Discrimination at Work”

On March 1 the Spanish Diversity Charter and their signatories celebrated the International Day of Zero Discrimination. A date that aims to promote equal rights and opportunities for all people, regardless of their ethnic origin, nationality, religion, sex, gender, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, age, disability or any other individual, social or cultural condition.

This campaign has been launched within the framework of the 15th anniversary of the Spanish Diversity Charter and has had the support of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Spain, with the aim of highlighting the importance of guaranteeing non-discrimination and equality of opportunities and treatment, particularly at workplaces.

Fundación Diversidad invited all signatories of the Diversity Charter in Spain to participate in the campaign with the hashtag #Discrimination00

MAIN RESULTS

·       More than 60 companies have joined the campaign, including Grupo PrisaCorresponsables, Línea DirectaTowaMSDManpowerGullónFCCBDOdilo, etc.

·        More than 3 million impressions on social networks (LinkedIn, Twitter, Instagram, Facebook and YouTube), in February and March 2024.

·       Potential audience: 3,111,256 people.

·       3,907 interactions on social networks.

·       More than 100 posts with mentions of our hashtag #Discrimination00.

·       10 impacts on the press and media.

·       9,469 visits to the campaign website.

Why have we launched this campaign?

To encourage individuals, organizations and institutions to take action to challenge discrimination, stigmatization and prejudice in all its forms in the world of work. We wanted to highlight that all people are equal in dignity and rights, and that discrimination has no place in our society. And value the management of diversity and inclusion as a lever for greater innovation, greater sustainability and in general greater well-being for the workforce, the company and society as a whole. Our goal is to promote that more organizations join the Diversity Charter in Spain, to jointly build a European Union of Equality.

The International Day of Zero Discrimination was established by the United Nations in 2013, and seeks to raise awareness about the harmful effects of discrimination in all its forms, and promote inclusion and respect for diversity.
