Spotlight on Inclusive Communication

In a recent session in Milan during the EU Diversity Charters Platfor Meeting, Dana Oancea, founder of the Romanian Diversity Charter, shed light on the importance of inclusive language in fostering diverse and inclusive environments. Language, she emphasized, not only shapes our perceptions but also mirrors societal norms.

She introduced the NICE program, Neutral and Inclusive Communication in Corporate Environments, supported by the European Union's CERV program, a collaborative initiative by Diversity Charters from Cyprus, Greece, Bulgaria, Lithuania and Romania aiming to enhance diversity management strategies by embedding inclusive communication policies and practices.
