JUSTICE AND CONSUMERS - European Week of Regions and Cities

On 11 October, EACEA jointly with DG JUST organised a workshop under the title “The revival of urban and rural spaces for an inclusive Europe.” The workshop was planned in the frame of the annual European Week of Regions and Cities (EWRC) that took place between 9-12 October 2023. Why is this relevant for our funding?

The aim of the workshop was to showcase ongoing projects under the Citizens, Equality, Rights and Values (CERV) programme that focus on cultural heritage as a source of knowledge, inspiration and creativity.

The initiatives presented call on all citizens in their communities to imagine and build together a sustainable and inclusive future, in harmony with nature and the environment, in line with the New Bauhaus Initiative.

Maybe you do not know it, but, under the CERV programme, the New European Bauhaus Initiative has become one of the policy priorities for the Town Twinning and Network of Towns calls for proposals.

The Network of Towns call is now published on the Funding & tender opportunities portal and will open soon for submission (deadline to apply: 18 April 2024).
