Travel unit costs have been updated!

On 26 July 2023 the Commission adopted an amendment to Decision C(2021)35 authorising the use of unit costs for the reimbursement of travel, accommodation and subsistence costs.
The purpose of this amendment is to increase only the rates for return air and rail travel above 400km. The amendment does not apply to the other unit costs authorised in Decision C(2021)35, such as those for rail journeys below 400km or accommodation and subsistence costs. In fact, for all the other the unit costs set out in the 2021 Decision, another seperate review is currently underway and may result in a further amendment to Decision C(2021)35 in the near future.
For on going projects, the Coordinators have been already informed by their Project Officers.
