News from the project RINSE!

The project RINSE (“Research and INformation Sharing on freezing and confiscation orders in European Union”) needs your help to support its research via an online survey!

date:  11/09/2023

The project, coordinated by the Law Department of the University of Campania Luigi Vanvitelli, is funded under the call JUST-2021-JTRA of the Justice programme and involves a consortium of six partners across four EU member states (Italy, Greece, Belgium, and France).

The primary aim of the project is to contribute to fostering the mutual recognition of decisions related to the freezing and confiscation of assets among EU countries by enhancing the knowledge, competencies, and skills of judiciary professionals and other key stakeholders involved in the Multi-Phase Asset Recovery process.

As part of the key project's deliverables, there is an online survey which aims to assess the knowledge and familiarity of both legal professionals and third-sector associations involved in pursuing institutional and social purposes regarding two European regulations: Regulation (EU) 2018/1805 and  Directive EU/2014/42. These regulations concern the mutual recognition and harmonization of measures related to seizure and confiscation within the European context.

The results from this survey will guide the project’s working group in identifying the current practical implementation gaps and in developing a training program tailored to the specific needs and awareness levels of the target audience.

If you are familiar with these topics, you can support the RINSE project by filling out the survey and disseminating it through your channels
