JUSTICE AND CONSUMERS - European Commission attended IHRA Thessaloniki Plenary

2 to 10 November 2021 - European Commission, as a Permanent International Partner, took active part in the International Holocaust Remembrance Alliance (IHRA) second biannual Plenary of 2021 under the Greek Presidency, hosted virtually in Thessaloniki.

The meetings focused on countering Holocaust distortion and safeguarding the historical record as well as combating the rise of Holocaust denial and antisemitism. The Commission also presented the EU Strategy on combating antisemitism and fostering Jewish life in the IHRA Plenary.
