Over the past 7 years, the aim of the Europe for Citizens programme has been to contribute to citizens’ understanding of the history, values and diversity of the EU and to foster conditions for civic participation and engagement at EU level. It is now time to say goodbye to the Europe for Citizens programme that has been incorporated into the new CERV programme and, therefore, the 2020 report represents also an opportunity to look back at its implementation during the period 2014-2020.
