Joint letter urges football clubs to adopt the IHRA working definition of antisemitism

Katharina von Schnurbein, European Coordinator on combating antisemitism and fostering Jewish life, joint the initiative of Lord John Mann, HM Government’s Independent for Adviser on Antisemitism, in signing a letter that urges football clubs to adopt the International Holocaust Remembrance Alliance (IHRA) definition of antisemitism.

Katharina von Schnurbein, European Coordinator on combating antisemitism and fostering Jewish life, joint the initiative of Lord John Mann, HM Government’s Independent for Adviser on Antisemitism, in signing a letter that urges football clubs to adopt the International Holocaust Remembrance Alliance (IHRA) definition of antisemitism.

The letter was co-signed by European and International Special Envoys and coordinators on antisemitism (DE, EE, EL, FR, HU, IT, MK, RO, UK, US), IHRA Chair, OSCE Representative and UN Special Rapporteur on freedom of religion or belief, and was sent out to major Football Clubs in Europe as well as FIFA and UEFA.
