The role of the Italian Diversity Charter for inclusive growth”, highlighted the essential role of the creation of partnerships and networks in order to promote the reduction of inequalities in the labour market. It has also been an opportunity to share the work of the "EU Diversity Charters Platform", and the best practices of some companies signatories of the Charter.

The event brought together key actors for D&I in Italy: the Minister for Family and Equal Opportunities, the Undersecretary of State at the Ministry of Labour and Social Affairs and the National Equality Councillor- Ministry of Labour and Social Affairs.

During the event Fondazione Sodalitas launched new actions, including “Sodalitas D&I Self Assessment”. This is an online tool (a checklist), created together with Bureau Veritas, that provides a first measurement of D&I performance for Diversity Charter signatories. In addition, it allows each organization to compare its position with other companies and with "the best in class".
