Diversity Charter Sweden - Visit from Finnish signatories

On 25 October the six Finnish Signatories attended the Friday learning. The topic for the Friday learning was inclusive recruitment.

After the morning session three speakers gave their perspective on diverse and inclusive recruitment. First speaker was Amir Nazari, Diversity Coach at ÅF. ÅF is a Europe based engineering and design company within the fields of energy, industry and infrastructure that creates sustainable solutions for the next generations. ÅF has through its successful 6-months trainee program managed to employ 216 newly arrived engineers. 68 women and 148 men.

 

Second speaker was Urban Björn, SVP & HR Executive at Swedbank, telling about the successful trainee program called Job at last. Job at last is a cooperation between Swedbank and the Swedish Employment Office. 70% of all trainees are offered a job after the 6-months trainee program.

 

Third speaker was Diversity Activist Magnus Berg, who shared his experiences from the recruiting industry. 

 

A long day with many discussions and shared experiences.
