For the first time Lithuanian business community supports „Baltic Pride“

For the first time, members of the Lithuanian Diversity Charter declare public support for the Baltic Pride. This is a crucial step in ensuring human rights and the public interest, when not only the non-governmental but also the private sector is mobilized.

The Charter follows the principle that there are no, and can‘t not be, selective human rights and selective diversity. If organizations strive for diversity and equal opportunities at the workplace, any element of diversity - race or ethnic origin, sexual orientation and gender identity, gender, age, disability and religion - is equally important.

This year, the Diversity Charter, together with members' representatives, took part in the March for Equality and supported other Baltic Pride Week events. Additional support activities were also carried out by so called ambassadors of the Diversity Charter. This year Barclays was the main partner of the Baltic Pride Week, Swedbank supported the International Human Rights Conference, where the Charter hosted one of the panels.

For equality & diversity!
