New calls for proposals published under the CERV and Justice programmes!

Under the CERV programme, the CHILD call is back with a substantial increase of the budget and new interesting priorities such as children's mental health. Under the Justice programme, the big focus this year is on digitalisation of justice. This is just a little taste: discover the first 2024 calls already published (some of them are already open). You cannot miss these funding opportunities!

1. Call for proposals to promote and protect Union values

Civil society plays a key role in upholding the common values on which the EU is founded: the rule of law, fundamental rights, and democracy. Supporting civil society organisations is instrumental to contribute to a thriving civic space to uphold those values and rights as well as to contribute to checks and balances of healthy democracies.

2. Call for proposals on rights of the child and children’s participation

Are you looking for EU funding for projects promoting the rights of the child? Through the CERV programme, the European Commission supports projects contributing to the support, implementation and advancement of the EU Strategy on the rights of the child, including the right to participate.

3. Call for proposals to prevent and combat gender-based violence and violence against children

A budget of 24,8 million EUR is available to support projects on preventing and combating gender-based violence and violence against children!

Four priorities for the year 2024:

  1. Large-scale and long-term transnational actions on tackling gender-based violence;
  2. Targeted actions for the protection of and support for victims and survivors of gender-based violence;
  3. Targeted actions for the prevention of gender-based violence, in the domestic sphere, in intimate relationships, and online, including through targeted actions with perpetrators;
  4. Targeted actions making integrated child protection systems work in practice.

4. Call for proposals to national Data Protection Authorities on reaching out to stakeholders in data protection legislation

The European Commission makes 2 Million EUR available to protect and promote the right to the protection of personal data.

Building on experience gained from the calls for proposals launched in the previous years and in view of implementing the conclusions of the Report on the first two years of application of Regulation on General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), actions under this priority should aim to further support activities carried out by national data protection authorities in Member States, to facilitate the implementation of GDPR obligations by small and medium-sized enterprises, and to raise awareness about the GDPR among the general public.

 

5. Call for proposals to promote gender equality

The European Commission makes 10,1 million Euro available to promote women’s full enjoyment of rights, gender equality, including work-life balance, equal pay between women and men, women’s empowerment and gender mainstreaming.

The 2024 Gender Equality Call focuses on two priorities:

  1. Tackling the root causes of the gender care gap by promoting a gender-transformative approach and challenging gender stereotypes
  2. Supporting the implementation of the provisions of the Pay Transparency Directive 

This call for proposals supports the Gender Equality Strategy 2020-2025.

 

6. Call for proposals to National Roma Contact Points for Roma equality, inclusion and participation

The objective of this Call is to foster the implementation of the EU Roma strategic framework on equality, inclusion, and participation (EURSF), and of the Council Recommendation, in the Member States. Call's aim is to advance the institutional development and capacity of the National Roma Contact Points for Roma equality, inclusion and participation (NRCPs) in their role of facilitating national consultation processes, particularly through reforming and strengthening their established National Roma Platforms (NRPs). Projects submitted by consortia formed of NRCP and Roma and pro-Roma civil society organisations are particularly encouraged.

 

7. Call for proposals for Networks of Towns

The Networks of Towns call give towns and municipalities the possibility to deepen and intensify their cooperation and debate, develop sustainable networks and outline their long-term vision for the future of European integration. Discover the policy priorities of this year!

1. Call for proposals to promote judicial cooperation in civil and criminal matters

2. Call for proposals to support transnational projects on judicial training covering civil law, criminal law or fundamental rights

Do you know that training activities for justice professionals coming from different EU countries are supported by the Justice programme? With your project you could help addressing their training needs in the fields of civil law, criminal law and fundamental rights and, therefore, contribute to a better application of EU law in the Member States. This year this call focuses a lot on the important topic of digitalisation of justice.
