LDC unites organizations that commit to promoting openness, diversity management, and a friendly and inclusive working environment regardless of the person's gender, race, ethnic origin, nationality, disability, age, sexual orientation and gender identity or religion.

Membership is open to all organizations that comply with minimum standards, though commit to ensure equal opportunities by signing a Diversity Charter. In 2021, LDC aims to promote measurable change, connect members with leading signatories in other EU countries and offer hands-on trainings on a wide range of diversity- related topics.
