Diversity Day celebrated in Estonia

On April 17th, Estonian Diversity Charter celebrates the Diversity Day once again. The aim of the day is to encourage people to notice that every person around us is unique regardless of their gender, age, nationality, identity, sexual orientation, religion or disability.

date:  09/04/2019

Diversity makes us go faster, higher and  further and that is why this year’s campaign slogan is  “Diversity is a superpower”. In 2019, the focus is on how diversity enables innovation, development and gaining new knowledge in organizations and companies.

For the last two years, Estonian Diversity Day celebration has included an exciting and tasteful Restaurant Program, where cafes, bars and restaurants all over the country have special Diversity Day offers throughout the day. A diverse diet keeps us healthy and happy, tastes of the world offer exciting experiences, innovative ingredients give us the joy of discovery. Food is an important part of culture, with diverse people and engaging stories behind it.

Diversity Day is organised by Estonian Human Rights Centre in collaboration with the members of Estonian Diversity Charter. For further information, please visit the webpage.
