This call aims to speed up the development of next generation influenza vaccines that could be produced in rapidly scalable manufacturing platforms, could support products utilising novel administration routes, confer mucosal immunity, target potentially pandemic influenza A viruses or could be rapidly adapted to pandemic influenza A viruses.
The objective of this call for tenders is to strengthen the scientific evidence on the immunity provided by the Modified Vaccinia Ankara virus-Bavarian Nordic (MVA-BN) vaccine, with particular emphasis on the need and optimal timing of booster doses.
