Young Citizens' Assembly on Pollinators publishes final recommendations

The final report of the European Commission’s Young Citizens’ Assembly on Pollinators has been published. Bringing together 100 randomly selected young people aged 18-29 from all 27 EU Member States, the Assembly spent six months examining how Europe can reverse the decline of wild pollinators.

The report presents a set of recommendations adopted by the Assembly, focusing on three key areas for action: reducing pesticide use, transforming agriculture and land use, and protecting habitats. It also highlights the conditions needed to support change, including funding, awareness-raising, monitoring, and effective implementation and enforcement.
