Prepare for COP17: Join Our Pre-COP Webinar on the EU's Biodiversity Priorities

As COP17 approaches, understanding the policy landscape and priorities shaping the biodiversity agenda is becoming increasingly important for businesses and other stakeholders. To support this effort, the EU B&B Platform and the European Commission (DG ENV) invite you to join a special pre-COP17 webinar on Tuesday 6 October, from 11:00 to 12:00 CEST.

The session will provide an overview of the key topics expected to shape discussions at COP17 in Yerevan, Armenia, alongside an introduction to Digital Sequence Information (DSI) and the Cali Fund. Participants will learn what these initiatives are, how they work, and why they are relevant for businesses and other stakeholders.

EU negotiators will share insights into the EU's priorities and expectations ahead of the conference, helping participants better understand the broader policy context of COP17 and the issues likely to feature prominently during the meeting.

Designed for Platform members and organisations interested in emerging biodiversity policy developments, the webinar will also include interactive polling and a dedicated Q&A session, providing opportunities for participants to share perspectives and raise questions. Organisations working with Digital Sequence Information (DSI) are particularly encouraged to attend.
