EUROPEAN INNOVATION COUNCIL AND SMES EXECUTIVE AGENCY - Kick-off Event to Joint Training Series with EPO: From Lab to Market – Successful Tech Transfer Driving Innovation Against Cancer

This kick-off event marks the start of a new training series jointly organised by the European Patent Office (EPO) and the European Intellectual Property (IP) Helpdesk to showcase successful technology transfer journeys in the fight against cancer. Spotlighting a new set of innovation case studies developed by the EPO, this event will set the scene for the upcoming training sessions, which will deal with each of the studies in more detail. In this session, participants will also gain insights into recent developments regarding European knowledge valorisation policies and get an update on the unitary patent system and its implications for small and medium enterprises (SMEs) and universities.
