This kick-off event is the start of a training series jointly organised by the European Patent Office (EPO) and the European IP Helpdesk to showcase successful technology transfer journeys. Our experts will provide an overview of different case studies and discuss the importance of technology transfer as a means to valorise intellectual property (IP), specifically in the context of research cooperation. The introduction to the topic will be rounded off by an update on the unitary patent system and its implications for SMEs and universities. Participants will have the opportunity to exchange with the speakers in a "Meet the Speakers" session following the official programme.
