This virtual study visit will give participants from European universities hands-on experience of the European Patent Office (EPO) and insight into the work of EPO experts from different technical fields, with a view to gaining a deeper understanding of the European patent system. Apart from a focus on the latest developments in patenting, participants will also find out more about the work of an EPO examiner and will have the opportunity to put questions to examiners and other EPO experts.
