The EESC brings the European Citizens’ Initiative outside Brussels

The objective was to discuss with Croatian stakeholders about their experience, views and ideas, and to raise awareness about the ECI tool. 

It was the first “going local” event of this kind, and the debate was followed by a walk in the city center of Zagreb during which the ad hoc group members handed out the EESC’s popular European Democracy Passport to passers-by.
