InvestEU Portal now online!

We are happy to inform you that the InvestEU Portal, part of the InvestEU Programme, was launched on 20 April 2021. The Portal builds on the European Investment Project Portal (EIPP) and continues to offer a free, user-friendly database, providing EU based projects in search of financing with the visibility and networking opportunities they need. What is new?

  • The threshold of total project cost was lowered to EUR 500 000.
  • Project information will be made available to registered investors only. This is beneficial to project developers whose projects will be reviewed by validated investors only.
  • Publicly available information will include a project map view, interactive only for registered users, success stories with full project description and a project directory grouped by countries, sectors and other relevant criteria.
  • The InvestEU Portal will transmit projects to the relevant InvestEU implementing partners that will examine projects falling within their geographical or sectoral area. 
  • The InvestEU Portal may, where an advisory initiative exists, transmit relevant projects to the InvestEU Advisory Hub.

 

Is my project eligible?

To be eligible for publication on the InvestEU Portal, a project shall:

  • have a minimum size of EUR 500 000;
  • be active in one of the pre-determined high economic value-added sectors (Energy, transport, environment, digital connectivity infrastructure, research, development and innovation, digital technologies, financial support to SMEs and small Mid-Caps, cultural and creative sector, tourism, rehabilitation of industrial sites, agriculture, social investments, defence, space and blue economy);
  • be situated in an EU Member State and be promoted by a public or private legal entity;
  • have started or be expected to start within three years of the date of submission;
  • be clearly described as an investment project such as project objective, investment object (company, technology, process, infrastructure, etc.)
  • be compatible with Union law and policies.

 

Project publication is free of charge and projects can be submitted in all EU official languages.
