As we reach the midpoint of 2024, we are delighted to reflect on a strong first half of the year, marked by the InvestEU Portal now featuring 1,576 published investment projects. A key highlight was the EBAN Congress in Tallinn, co-organized with the European Business Angel Network, which saw record participation. The EBAN Congress as well as our collaboration with bpi France for online pitching events has further increased interest and registrations. We are looking forward to the second half of 2024 with more interesting projects and events coming up.

We are excited to inform you that 7 InvestEU Portal projects successfully raised funds from investors, following their pitches at our 2023 events (co-organized by EBAN and Euroquity/Bpifrance). Our big congratulations to all of them!

In spring the InvestEU Portal will partner up again with European Business Angels Network (EBAN) to organise the EBAN Annual Congress 2024! The event will gather start-ups and hundreds of early-stage investors from all over the world. Stay tuned for more information!

The InvestEU Portal and Euroquity are co-organizing Investor Office Hours for ClimateTech startups. The event will take place on March 5.

Several project promoters have told us that they have found financing after being published on the Portal. Watch our latest testimonials and see how the Portal was beneficial to them. Three companies from Ireland, Romania and France operating in the health and green sector are telling their story.

On 18 March 2021, DG ECFIN held an online public event to mark the launch of the InvestEU Programme, adopted by the European Parliament on 09 March 2021. The event, which attracted over 1000 stakeholders from across Europe, featured a keynote address and Q&A session with EU Commissioner for the Economy, Paolo Gentiloni, as well as speakers from DG ECFIN's Directorate L, and InvestEU potential implementing partners.

The EIPP team was invited to the 2020 virtual edition of the European Space Week and joined the panel discussion on “EU Space Programme and Economy that works for people” that took place on 10 December. EIPP is striving to promote more projects targeting the space sector and we expect to enlarge our project portfolio as a result of our collaboration with the European Global Navigation Satellite System Agency.
