The European Week of Regions and Cities is an annual event in which cities and regions showcase their capacity to contribute to the social, economic and cultural development of the EU. This year it takes place 8-11 October in Brussels.

The 2 European Year of Cultural Heritage 2018 workshops are:

• ‘How to ensure quality in EU-funded heritage and architectural projects?’ – a workshop on quality standards for the contemporary transformation of the built environment will take place on 9 October.
• ‘Coop Cult and Succeed – EYCH 2018’ – focused on the role of macro-regional strategies and cross-border cooperation to support viable cultural investments in Europe – held on 10 October.

There will also be a networking session in the afternoon where the participants will have the opportunity to meet with the administrators of participating European Commission services. Registrations close 28 September 2018.
