MSCA Fellow of the month communication initiative - apply by 11 May!

Do you know an inspiring MSCA researcher, or are you one yourself? The Fellow of the Month communication initiative will present testimonials from current and former MSCA fellows. It will offer insight into their scientific achievements, personal experiences, and the broader contribution of their projects to society. Interested? The call for nominations is still open until 11 May 2025 at 12.00, CEST.

 
Sustainable ICT solutions for our connected world

The continuous rise of mobile communications has transformed how we work, live and play. But the power needed to deliver this growing data infrastructure has an equally large carbon footprint. Through 15 fellowships, the MSCA-funded GREENEDGE project aims to design energy-efficient technologies and combine them with the efficient management of ambient energy sources to reduce the impact of data services.

 
InnoNext internship scheme open to MSCA fellows

The InnoNext project provides opportunities for researchers to carry out internships in highly innovative companies supported by the EIC and EIT . The scheme is open to doctoral candidates and postdoctoral researchers in MSCA Postdoctoral Fellowships, Doctoral Networks and COFUND projects and will be undertaken as part of a new secondment in the MSCA project.

 
MSCA opens €97.7 million call for Staff Exchanges

The MSCA Staff Exchanges 2025 call is currently open. Under this call, the European Commission will allocate €97.7 million to fund around 85 projects promoting cooperation between organisations in the EU and around the world in the field of research and innovation.The deadline for submission of proposals is 8 October 2025.

 
New MSCA Seal of Excellence scheme kicks off in France

The French region of Brittany launched the Bienvenüe Seal of Excellence funding scheme to support up to seven projects that were awarded an MSCA Seal of Excellence under the 2024 Postdoctoral Fellowships call and whose proposals have been evaluated with a score of at least 90% but failed to be funded due to budget constraints.The call is open until 30 June 2025.

 
Closing soon: MSCA Staff Exchanges 2024

The Staff Exchanges action offers a unique opportunity to promote the transfer of knowledge and innovation through international research collaborations. The European Commission will allocate €99.5 million to fund around 90 projects promoting cooperation between organisations in the EU and around the globe in research and innovation.

The MSCA Staff Exchanges is the most international and intersectoral initiative within MSCA, promoting collaboration and knowledge sharing among academic and industrial organizations across borders.The 2025 Call Information Session aims to provide in-depth information about the key features of the Staff Exchanges Action and how to apply to the call for proposals.

EU Code Week

Are you curious about how to integrate coding and digital thinking into your teaching? The European Code Week offers a large number of resources, activities and ideas to teach coding in a fun and engaging way. The European Code Week is an EU-funded citizens' initiative that celebrates creativity, problem solving and collaboration through coding and other technological activities. At the heart of the initiative, a dynamic team of teachers and volunteer ambassadors organises EU Code Week activities in their own communities. The European Code Week celebrates its anniversary every year in October, with two weeks of fun events and activities organised across Europe and beyond. But contrary to its name, Code Week is an initiative that takes place throughout the year, and many other activities take place outside of the most important celebrations in October. This year, the 12th anniversary celebrations of the European Code Week will take place from 14 to 27 October.
