This summer, the preparatory action DiscoverEU is offering 18-year-olds the opportunity to discover Europe’s rich cultural heritage by free travel passes. Over 15,000 young Europeans will be given such pass to go to up to 4 countries, predominantly via train, between July and October. This is an amazing opportunity for young people to explore more, discover the diversity of the European cultural heritage and even attend some of events related to the European Year of Cultural Heritage during their travels.

DiscoverEU aims to enable travellers to experience the freedom of movement offered, make new friends, and learn more about our continent. Those interested can apply between 12 and 26 June. The European Commission will also organise a winter application cycle when at least another 5,000 passes will be distributed.
