The European Commission and the Council of Europe have joined forces to promote the principles of the Council of Europe’s Framework Convention on the Value of Cultural Heritage for Society (Faro Convention). It emphasises the link between heritage, human rights and democracy. ‘The Faro Way’ will engage with various levels of decision-making, from the national to the local, through studies, audio-visual materials, seminars and networking opportunities.
