If you are still running Domibus 5.0.x or 5.1.x, you should apply the latest relevant security and maintenance updates in the short term but also plan your migration to Domibus 5.2.x before the end of the support period on 30 September 2026.

Version 5.1 RC1 of the eDelivery SML sample software is now available for non-production testing. This Tomcat-only release candidate adds operational improvements and extends platform support, including PostgreSQL.

The conformance testing service expands the coverage of the eDelivery AS4 Common Profile. Products and services that successfully complete testing under version 2026.06 will receive certification for conformance with eDelivery AS4 1.16.

The European Commission's Reality Check on the revision of the eInvoicing Directive, held on 27 April 2026, brought together businesses, public authorities and technical experts to discuss the future of electronic invoicing in Europe. The revised Directive, which could introduce a mandate for a common transmission method for eInvoicing, potentially using the eDelivery Building Block, and harmonised requirements for existing national eInvoicing certification schemes, is expected to be adopted later in 2026.

The eDelivery team is inviting the members of the eDelivery Interoperability Forum to share their feedback and define the next chapter of the Forum. The Forum is a key space where solution providers and experts meet to discuss rollout and specifications.

At the Peppol Conference Europe 2026, discussions covered ViDA, digital tax reporting, logistics, sustainability, and more. eDelivery joined to present its next-generation profiles and invite the Peppol community to use them. Domibus 5.2.1 is now available. This release introduces the new REST plugin, giving your applications a lighter and more modern way to connect to Domibus while continuing to rely on the AS4 protocol for secure message exchange.
