OOTS Checkpoint Event, Brussels, 25-26 November 2026
Date: 13/10/2026
The Commission is hosting the first “OOTS Checkpoint” to support Member States’ efforts in achieving full operational readiness by the end of the year.
It is essential that all Member States reach Acceleratormeter level 6 or 7 by the end of 2026.
The November 2026 Checkpoint supports this objective:
- Member States already at level 6 or 7 should use this event to prepare and validate real end-user live transactions.
- Member States at levels 1-5 will receive dedicated technical and testing support to reach level 6 or 7 in a timely manner.
SDG national coordinators can join workshops helping prepare the priorities for delivering the OOTS in 2027. They can also help supervise and coordinate the testing activities and provide feedback on end-to-end transactions to prepare the roll-out of services for end-users.
For OOTS implementers, participating means:
- verifying your system or solution compliance
- identifying and correcting errors
- meet relevant experts
- increase the visibility of your implementation
- improve and assess the proper functioning of the OOTS Technical Design Documents
Joining on-site is especially valuable. Reach out more easily to Monitors and the Support team, get assistance from other teams and find test partners faster. In addition, on-site participation makes it easier to engage in workshops allows parallel (informal) discussions in smaller groups.
You can now download the event Playbook via the event page. This Playbook explains what the OOTS Checkpoint is, why participating is advantageous to all OOTS implementers, the technical and practical aspects of taking part and how to prepare.
**This event takes place on 25-26 November 2026. Technical teams can join a “Day 0” on 24 November, while national coordinators join the 62nd GCG meeting.
