DIGITAL - Technical update #37

On 11 December 2023, the EBSI Team presented its work over the last few months at the EBP Technical Group Quarterly Meeting! The team has been preparing the release of Conformance Testing v3.2 which will include a Node.js 20 update, a traceability app, changes in the Ledger API (v4) and in the Authorisation API. This update will also support the new Timestamp API v4. An update of the documentation present on the EBSI Hub is also being prepared to reflect these release.

Additionally, amazing work has been done with different Large Scale Pilots present in the EBSI ecosystem. Alongside them, the team has been exploring the current needs of different stakeholders and how EBSI services can meet them.

Furthermore, there is an ongoing preparation to deprecate the legacy versions of APIs (DIDR API v2, TIR API v2, among others), as well as to decommission legacy APIs (Storage API, Proxy Data Hub and Notifications API) that are no longer used by EBSI applications and projects.

Lastly, the reviewing of processes and tools related to the protection from code injection has been finalised, and a study and test on the new consensus algorithm (based on QBFT) have been released.
