The Commission welcomes the judgments of the General Court, which fully uphold a Commission 2017 decision approving certain public support measures granted to the public bus transport operators in the Ile-de-France region under EU State aid rules. In its 2017 decision, the Commission had found the public support measures to the public bus transport operators were compatible with the Internal Market under EU State aid rules. In the same decision, the Commission had also found that the aid measures constituted unlawful aid, as they should have been notified to Commission before being implemented.
