On 17 November, with some COVID-delay, the COMP AST Network committee met with Olivier for the very first time, to introduce its members and its work.
Olivier took a lot interest in all our achievements and projects in our fields of action: mentoring, training, intranet and social. He also decided to support us in the need to ensure the attribution of coaches systematically, in the whole DG. He proposed to send an email to Heads of Unit and planned to follow this topic up in an SMM and in his next plenary meeting with the HoU.
He also proposed to deliver a session dedicated to “Competition policy in the years to come” during one of the next Lunchtime training sessions the COMP AST Network is organizing.
For him ASTs and AST/SCs are very important to keep the DG up and running. He has always appreciated assistants for going the extra mile in being flexible and supportive in normal times and even more so during demanding ones.
