UNFCCC Consultative Group of Experts (CGE) Webinar Series

These webinars aim to enhance Parties’ understanding of the reporting requirements under the Enhanced Transparency Framework (ETF) and the components of Biennial Transparency Reports (BTRs), including the Modalities, Procedures, and Guidelines (MPGs) and the flexibility provisions allowed to developing country Parties that need flexibility in light of their capacities. The first webinar, for Africa and Eastern Europe, was held in May 2024. The second webinar, for Latin America and the Caribbean, was held in August 2024. The third webinar of the series, for the Asia and Pacific region, is due to be scheduled shortly.
