100 more regions and local authorities sign the Charter of the EU Mission for Adaptation to Climate Change in support of the goals of the European Green Deal and the EU Climate Adaptation Strategy.
CO2 emissions per km of new cars registered in the EU, Iceland, Norway, and the UK in 2020 decreased by 12% compared with 2019 levels, according to the European Environment Agency. This is mostly due to increased fleet electrification.
