Dear eInvoicing community member,

date:  20/03/2023

Dear eInvoicing community member,

My name is Juan Alvarez, the stakeholder manager for the DIGITAL eInvoicing Building Block. I would like to invite you to participate in the recently launched eInvoicing Call for Evidence.

The European Commission is seeking feedback from the whole eInvoicing community regarding the eInvoicing Directive on the following topics:

  • Degree of success in meeting its objectives;
  • Effects on the internal market and its uptake in public procurement;
  • Costs and benefits for eInvoicing users, especially small and medium-sized firms;
  • Current and future needs of eInvoicing, including technical solutions, transmission level, the potential need for new standards and the scope of covered transactions; and
  • Consistency with other relevant EU initiatives, such as the VAT in the Digital Age, the EU standardisation strategy and the specifications of the eDelivery Building Block.

The input received will be used to inform a report on the evaluation of the directive and will help identify possible areas for improvement and shape the future of eInvoicing. Don't miss this chance to make your voice heard.

The call for evidence is open until 14 April 2023.

Please visit the Have your say portal to provide your feedback, feel free to spread the word through social media, and visit the eInvoicing user community.

Thank you for your participation.

Best regards,

Juan ALVAREZ
