Single Digital Gateway: the implementing act on user statistics and feedback was adopted

In order to ensure a high quality of the services offered by the Single Digital Gateway, user statistics and feedback will be collected and help identify possible areas for improvement.

The Commission Implementing Regulation (Regulation (EU) 2020/1121) on user statistics and feedback was adopted on 29 July. It specifies the method of collecting and exchanging the user feedback and the user statistics defined in the Single Digital Gateway Regulation.

This Implementing Regulation will be the basis for the work of authorities on national, local and municipal level who are responsible for webpages containing information, or are dealing with assistance services and procedures that are relevant for citizens and businesses. Although the deadline for the municipal level webpages to join the gateway is December 2022, the requirements on automated transmission of statistics can be challenging for smaller municipalities.

This is why the ISA² programme will help to explore the feasibility of and the demand for a common EU level service that would facilitate the collection and transmission of statistics related to webpages that are part of the gateway and that are under the responsibility of municipal authorities.
