Gertrud Ingestad will present European Interoperability Framework at Digital Assembly
On 15 June, Gertrud Ingestad, Director-General of Directorate-General for Informatics at the European Commission, will introduce the new European Interoperability Framework and the way it helps set up interoperable digital public services. The presentation will take place during the Digital Assembly in Valletta, Malta.
The new EIF, adopted by the European Commission in March 2017, offers public administrations 47 concrete recommendations on how to improve governance of their interoperability activities and establish cross-organisational relationships. Successful implementation of the EIF will improve the quality of European public services and create an environment where public administrations can easily collaborate digitally. Read more about the EIF in the new blog post.
Ms Ingestad's presentation will be followed by testimonials from the CIOs of Finland and Luxembourg, Ms Anna-Maija Karjalainen and Mr Gilles Feith, on their expectations and experience with the implementation of the new EIF in their respective countries.
