Zukunftskongress Staat & Verwaltung

Framed by the speeches of the Federal German Ministers Dr. Thomas de Maizière and Peter Altmaier, the 5th Congress for the Future of State and Governance brings together about 1,500 decision makers from all federal levels with experts from the fields of business and sciences to point the way for a modern, innovative state.

The forthcoming congress is entitled "Germany‘s vote: Digital progress or analogue downtime?". We seek to stimulate the dialogue for an efficient, modern governance.

In the summer of 2013, the Zukunftskongress Staat und Verwaltung (Congress for the future of state and governance) started as the flagship event on digital government and governance modernisation under the patronage of the German Federal Ministry of the Interior. It is the aim of the congress to help tackle the organisational and structural tasks connected to the digitalisation of state and governance and at the same time make use of the opportunities presented by the digital revolution.
