ISA² - Interoperability solutions for public administrations, businesses and citizens

Once-Only Conference

Once Only Principle

The once-only principle (OOP) aims at collecting information from citizens and businesses only once and to share this information among different government institutions to avoid duplication in the future. At 28th November 2017, the first once-only conference will take place as a joint event between the two projects SCOOP4C and TOOP that are analysing the once-only principle in Europe on a cross-border level. The event will be held at the orangelab (Ernst-Reuter-Platz) in Berlin from 09:30-15:00.

To involve the stakeholders in the actual work of the projects, the afternoon of the conference will have a more interactive format where the participants themselves shall share their ideas on some of the main questions of the implementation of the OOP in Europe as:

  • Are the countries ready for the TOOP architecture?
  • Which enablers and barriers support/restrain the implementation of OOP?
  • What are the challenges, needs and benefits of once-only for citizens?
  • What are the main stakeholders in Europe and how can we involve them?

At 7 pm, there will be a joint dinner with members of the National E-Governance Competence Center (NEGZ). This as also a good opportunity to discuss together the future of European E-Government.

Participants of the once-only-conference are also very welcome to participate at NEGZ conference taking place at Bundespressehaus at 29th November 2017. This years subject will be “European E-Government” and SCOOP4C will discuss there the once-only principle with German decision makers.

The participation of both events is free of charge.
