Conference 'Open licence, open content, open data: tools for developing digital humanities

Numerous studies have concluded that keeping digital resources unaccessible to the public is not profitable for museums, libraries and archives. Sharing information openly enables the public to become more aware of digital resources and the organisations connected to the information, both nationally and internationally. Moreover, open data encourages academic discourse in different fields, which in turn provides a valuable contribution to the improvement of data stored in museums and archives.

The aim of this conference is to boost the level of contribution and knowledge of open data platforms and encourage research in digital humanities.
