In the midst of the global pandemic, the climate and environmental emergencies remain. Because the effects of the crisis will have deep and lasting scars on our economies and societies in general, the recovery measures must be sustainable and sound. Therefore, integrating the Sustainable Development Goals into the reconstruction process is of the utmost importance for our regions, cities and villages. This workshop will be the opportunity to:

  • highlight the link between the SDGs, the recovery process, and the creation of resilient societies
  • show how regions and cities are working together to "localise" the SDGs
  • call on the EU not to lose the momentum on SDGs and recognise the leading role of local and regional governments to achieve the 2030 agenda
