Following the once only principle in the egovernment action plan 2016-2020 it is vital for businesses to have a single point of contact. There is a need for cooperation between all the administration bodies (local and regional authorities, chamber organisations, ...).

The Action Plan forees launching large scale pilot project on implementing the once-only principle across borders in the business-to-government with the participation of Member States. The pilot project will start early 2017.
