This session will underline the importance of good environmental governance for sustainable urban development. It will promote the existing tools, programmes and networks for knowledge exchange and peer learning, and discuss their strengths and weaknesses and the challenge of matching supply and demand in expertise and good practice in a dynamic process. The debate will assess conditions for successful peer learning and potential for improvement.
