With the current advance of IoT devices and platforms, what should be the best option to ensure fast adoption in current water systems?

What is missing, still, is a good insight in the different types of sensors and their behaviour. This could be addressed by further developing a classification system that would make this, and other parameters, visible.

As long as such a classification is missing, the required functionality at the platform level is not well defined, hence, the completeness and suitability of platforms is still leaving important questions open.
